Procedures for Use to Prepare Aircraft Surface for Paint
Apply copious amounts of Hurrisafe 9100 Paint Prep to the entire surface to be prepared, flooding the entire surface.
Scrub the surface using 180-240 grit (fine) Aluminum Oxide (red/burgundy) Pads. The scrubbing action will generate a rich lather.
Pay particular attention to all edges and other high corrosion areas.
Start from the top down.
Allow to sit 2-3 minutes.
Add more Hurrisafe 9100 to flood the area and completely scrub the surface again with a 180-240 grit (fine) Aluminum Oxide (red/burgundy) Pads
Rinse the Aircraft thoroughly and allow to dry.
Aircraft is now ready for primer.
If the aircraft is exposed to significant airborne contamination prior to priming or painting the entire surface should be wiped down with a clean, lint free cloth dampened with Hurrisafe S910 Paint Prep.
